One of the unique features of the Shady Rest community is the abundance of golf carts. These carts have become a staple of our neighborhood and have greatly impacted the way we interact with each other and enjoy our community amenities.
Golf carts make our neighborhood more accessible, as they allow families to easily navigate the streets and make use of the beach areas without clogging the parking areas. They also promote a more active and social community, as neighbors can use their golf carts to make frequent trips to the beach or park and interact with their neighbors more often. Many neighbors decorate their golf carts for the holidays and pull carts full of Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween!
Another great benefit of golf carts in our community is that they provide a fun and convenient way for pet owners to take their furry friends on virtual walks. Dogs love to ride in the carts and it’s a great way for them to get some fresh air and exercise without having to walk on a leash (of course we still walk our mutts and make sure they get a good amount of exercise).
Overall, the golf carts in Shady Rest have greatly enhanced the community experience for our residents, and we are proud to be a neighborhood where golf carts are an integral part of daily life.
