Shady Rest Beach and Pavilion Terms and Conditions

1. Approval of groups over 25 persons: Reservations of events with over 25 persons requires approval from the Homeowners Association (HOA) Board. Please submit your request for approval at least 5 days in advance of your planned event.

2. Cleanup Responsibility: The person reserving the beach/pavilion agrees to thoroughly clean the area after their event, removing all trash and leaving the beach and pavilion in the same condition as it was found. Failure to adequately clean up may result in a cleaning fee or other penalties as determined by the HOA.

3. Damage Responsibility: The person reserving the beach/pavilion agrees is fully responsible for any damages to the beach or associated properties caused by their event. This includes, but is not limited to, landscaping, structures, and community amenities. Costs for repairs or replacements will be charged to the person reserving the beach/pavilion agrees.

4. Insurance for Large Gatherings: For beach reservations involving more than 10 people, the person reserving the beach/pavilion must obtain an additional insurance policy covering the event. Proof of insurance must be submitted to the HOA at least [insert number] days prior to the event date. The person reserving the beach/pavilion is solely responsible for securing and financing this insurance.

5. Non-exclusive Access: Reservation of the beach does not grant exclusive access to the area. The beach and pavilion remain open to other community members during your event. We ask for your cooperation in sharing this community space respectfully and considerately.

By reserving the beach, you acknowledge your understanding and agreement to these terms. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in cancellation of your reservation, denial of future reservation requests, and/or other actions as deemed necessary by the HOA.
