The Shady Rest neighborhood is excited to announce our annual corn hole competitions! This is a great opportunity for neighbors to come together, bond over friendly competition, and represent our community in our local Cornhole League.
Bragging Rights
Last year, our team achieved a historic victory against the Alpine neighborhood (ROLZA) and we are determined to defend our title this year. We are currently looking for new team members to join us in this exciting journey. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, we welcome anyone who is interested in participating.
The competition dates will be announced in early summer, and it will be open to all residents of the Shady Rest neighborhood. Neighborhood-versus-neighborhood competitions will be held in alternating neighborhood locations. If you know another neighborhood we should challenge, let us know!
Cornhole is a fun and easy game to learn, it’s a great way to spend an afternoon with friends and family, and it’s a great way to get to know your neighbors. Not only that, but it also helps to promote a sense of community and pride in our neighborhood.
We are also planning to have some fun activities and refreshments (BYOB) for the participants and attendees, such as music, food, and drinks. We want to make sure that everyone has a great time, whether they’re participating in the competition or just watching.
