Dock Storage Information

Another summer has come and gone and those homeowners that store their dock at the Shady Rest Homeowners Association beach need to be aware of the following:

FirstLight conducted the fall drawdown of Lake Zoar on October 15, 2022 at the Stevenson Dam to conduct its maintenance and inspection activities. The normal summer operating range of the station is from 103′-100′ and the drawdown will target an elevation of 98.5′.

Please sign and return with a check prior to moving your dock onto the beach. As outlined int he Dock Storage policy from our rules and regulations please be aware of the fact that the maintenance storage fee for the winter as well as dues for the 2022-2023 year must be paid.

The beach is private property owned by the Homeowners Association and permission to store your private property on property owned by the Homeowners Association must be in accordance with the rules.

As in the past those members interested in storing docks on the beach will need to pay a $100.00 repair and maintenance fee. You will also be required to sign a liability waiver and docks will ne stored in designated areas to avoid damaging the beach. Documentation for dock storage will be available in advance of the date docks are usually stored at the end of the summer.

The waiver and payment for dock storage must be submitted prior to putting your dock at the beach. No exceptions. Dues for the 2021-2022 year as well as prior years musty also be current.
